While we were on the search for good recipes to add to our collection, we stumbled upon a recipe that was using a combination of cheeses instead of just using mozzarella cheese. We thought it was rather interesting, so we gave it to try! This should be a nice mixture of different cheeses to use. Enjoy these cheeses for pizza!
When you’re about to make your pizza, grate these cheeses and mix them together. When they melt, they’ll form a layer that’ll give your pizza some saltiness, so keep that in mind. After all, as you’ll see down below, two of the ingredients are cheeses known for having a salty flavor — although one of them must be chosen by yourself, really. Remember an excess of salt on your food is not good for your health!
Mozzarella cheese is still the main ingredient, so in a way this will be in the comfort zone of many cooks. Let’s give some pizza recipes a try by using this cheese mixture instead of just mozzarella cheese!
- 2 cups Mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup Romano cheese
- 1/4 cup Salty cheese of your choosing
- Mix together all the cheeses in a bowl until all three cannot be separated again.
